The last two weeks, my LO has been waking at 5am on the dot as opposed to 6:30-7. She's wide awake and ready to play. I have tried keeping the room darkened but nothing is working. She used to nap at 11:30 but now is tired by 10am! I work all day so I'm dying!!!

Any suggestions? Her current schedule is:

5am wake
10-10:30 - 1.5 hours nap
6:30 bed
PRE - 5 am wake up
6:30-7 wake
11;30-2 nap
7 bed

I think it's just the summer season - my two have started waking before 6h too. DS (22 months) has shifted his nap earlier too, but I just ride with it. Maybe put a book or some toys in her cot last thing at night so she can be occupied for a bit longer in the morning!

Try shifting her nap by 10 mins every day to a later time so it's more like a midday, after lunch nap and also her bedtime by a few minutes every day to 7 or 7.30. Also, did you check that no light is coming in her bedroom? The morning are lighter now and this might be affecting her body clock.
