Hi ladies,

Have spent today visiting a list of hospitals and getting info on their packages. I will be self paying.

Can anyone recommend a good doctor at any of the following hospitals:
- Al Zahra Private Hospital
- International Modern Hospital
- American Hospital
- Medcare
- Saudi German Hospital.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
I also have the info on these hospitals and more re package prices. If anyone needs this info, just let me know.

Yes that's the Al Zahra I stayed at. They do have an NICU unit there, I went into pre term labor at 32 weeks and they assured me they could take care of baby there. You will be well looked after, best of luck with your pregnancy :)

I just had my 2nd baby at Al Zahra this week . I had a great experience giving birth. The midwives were amazing so helpful and caring. I was a patient of Doctor Yaminis who I would also highly recommend. Thank you Maxine. I have also chosen Al Zahra and Dr Yamini so I am glad to hear this. I have my first (& 12 week) appointment with her in 2 weeks. Do you know if they have a NICU there should the baby require a stay there? Were you at the new Al Zahra (near Saudi German)?

I'm going to be using Medcare. It was recommended to me and I've been happy with it so far. I particularly like it as its closer than the hospitals in City My obgyn is Dr Sharda and she's been good so far Good luck in your decision!

Thanks! I really like the look of Al Zahra, the staff there were super friendly today. And it's the closest to my house. My second favourite was American. Anyone have any recommendations for those 2 places? Thanks again.
