DD's nursery has just sent a newsletter offering weekly 30 minute Little Musicians classes from next week until 5th April at the additional cost of AED 530 (AED 50 more than is quoted on the www.littlemusiciansdubai.com website - as if we wouldn't notice!). Have any of your little ones attended these classes? Any thoughts on how good they are and how suited they are to a 15 month old?

Thank you!

So just to follow up on my own post. Yesterday I attended a trial class with my LO and it was brilliant. The kids all loved it and Kieran clearly knows her stuff. We'll be signing up. The difference in the price is apparently due to longer classes and an instrument package...not sure what the latter is but will update this post once I know. Thanks Kelly_C and plumie for the helpful feedback.

Another big thumbs up here - DD just started her second term, also through nursery. She LOVES it! Apparently she is the most enthusiastic one in class, bless her. So much so, we bought her a little music set for christmas with all the little bits they use - xylophone, jingle bells etc. She loves it. The nursery organised a christmas show and the little ones (baby class) did a show of everything they have learned - basically lots of bashing! But it was just gorgeous to see them all sat there, and to know what to do with each thing they were given (hit this one, shake that one etc) Although i will admit DD's 'enthusiasm' meant she ended up with three peoples xylophone sticks at one point! Oops! Definitely recommended here. I think the price depends on the amount of classes you will get out of a term?

I did a few of these classes last year with DD! They are excellent!!! I cannot recommend it enough! The teacher Kieran is brilliant! And if you ever get a chance to attend a class with your DD, you will walk away feeling enriched yourself :) Most of the Mums who did the class with me, agreed that it was one of the best, well-run classes they have attended (and I did most of the mommy/baby classes Dubai has to offer) TIA
