Anyone else prescribed Navidoxine?

Hi Ladies,

I am almost at wk 10 (well 9 weeks and 5 days but 10 weeks sounds that bit closer to the elusive 12!!) I have been suffering from terrible morning sickness and pretty much total food aversion since week 5 to the point where I have lost just under 6 kilos (and I wasn't overweight to start with!).

My doc has prescribed Navidoxine to try to ease the nausea and hopefully enable me to keep some food down.

However, I am worried about taking any meds during pregnancy, and wondered if any of you have tried Navidoxine - did it help with nausea/vomiting?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences xx

I was on Navidoxine too and it is safe for use during pregnancy! Unfortunately as I was on Glugophage as well (for PCO) it did not help me much :(

Oh I used it and it was a God-send!!! I found it made me tired - esp the first few days until my body got a little used to it. I switched to taking it at night before bed and would be fine in the morning when I woke up then.

I tried taking it, but it makes me extremelly sleepy, & that why I ended up not using it, since I cant use it during the worknig days :(

I did plenty of research before I started taking it as well but then found it didn't really work for me so stopped taking if after a couple of weeks.

HI yes i took it and it helped me alot..... use to take one in the morning and one at night.... Dont worry its perfectly fine to take it whilst being pregnant....I have to take anthistimines as well due to huge hives etc during pregnancies.....if your doc prescribed it ull be fine... Good luck ...and eat little and often...
