Hello ladies. Right I had to mention something I found and it's saved me a lot of hassel and time wasting. If you want loads of aptamil 1 2 3 and all the rest they can be sent over by the British corner shop online it's an amazing website and they deliver all around the world. I have recently purchased 100 bottles which were sent over in less than ten days. I recommend them.!!!

Thank you ladies....I did in the end actually email Dubai customs and ask them. The reply was 'Its ok' as long as I carry an invoice....whatever they mean by that :p My translation of the answer was: I'm allowed :)

Hi all, I am travelling back from the UK with my 2 month old baby. He is on combine feed and since the UK Aptamil 1 RTF cartons suit him I am planning to bring back lotssssss of the small cartons in my suitcase to last me a couple of months atleast before I introduce him to the powdered formula. I know you get Aptamil cartons in Dubai as well but the formulation is slightly different and I don't want to take the risk and change him over unless absolutely necessary. My questions is: would Dubai customs stop me for bringing in so many cartons of Aptamil. Am I likely to get in trouble?? Thanks I doubt it. It is baby milk afterall

Probably not an issue but perhaps you could call and ask, even Emirates customer service might be able to point you to the applicable regulation for checked luggage (what can be in it etc), better be safe so you don't don't waste your money and effort...

Not sure of the legality but my DD1 had Aptimal Comfort which you can not buy the 900g boxes here so when ever I was in the UK I would bring back ten boxes in my suitcase with all sorts of other baby food. Never got stopped. Not sure what would have happened if I had been. Sorry it is not a definitive answer but I would have done this a dozen times or so.
