Hi all

Just wondering if any of you found when you moved your LO's across to follow on formula they got the runs? DS has had gastro according to the Dr which I think may be true but whilst his bowel movements have slowed (thankfully) he is still rather runny. I was expecting him to get firmer because of the solids plus the iron nutrients in the follow on formula I've read it can constipate...
Did anyone else find this with Aptimal follow on? if so did you change or stick with it? if you changed... what did you change to?
TIA

thx for the reply. He certainly had a gastro bug for some of it at least, because he was up to 8-11 poo's a day for a couple of days. I just had a thought the other day when things had slowed down but he was still quite runny that it conicided with me changing him over to the follow on formula so thought maybe it was a reactioin to that, but things have settled and we have 'normal' poos again yesterday / today. I think DS may be the same as yours with teeth... he hasn't got anything through yet, last of all the bubbas in our yummy mummies group. Dr says they are there but I couldn't see anything :D guess he does know what to look for.

hi hun, we swiched to Aptamil follow on at 7.5 months, but it didnt make his poo harder. It was similar. DS poo is also a bit runny, & now he's on Milupa toddlers milk +cow milk (he's 14 months). If your LO is teething, it's normal for his poo to be a bit runny. DS still poos 2-4 times a day. He's always teething (had his 1st teeth 1 week after his 1st birthday & until now he doesnt have more).
