Jeepers, I knew my boy was a whopper but I hadn't realised quite how huge. He's 3 months (just) and nearly 8kg!! He's not even chubby - quite gangly in fact - he is just very very long!

DS was 3.5 kgs when born, at 6.5 months he is 9 kgs! and he is doesn't look that chubby.. and he is been, well almost, exclusively breastfed till 6 months... <em>edited by presam12 on 23/01/2011</em>

my chubba bubba was 8.7kgs at 6 months and had had gastro for a week so... I'm tipping he would have been hitting the 9kg mark if it wasn't for that. You should see his chunky monkey legs! LOL

I think that's a very good weight. My DS was around 6.7 kg at 6 months. He's now 8.2 kg at 11 months. My son is very underweight :(
