Hi ladies,

I have just found out that I'm pregnant with baby number 4, about 8 weeks I think.

Firstly I'm looking for recommendations for an Obstetrician, having come from the UK where I had my other 3 it was all midwife led care so don't know where to start.

I'm also wondering when I should first make an appointment to see somebody, how many weeks should I be?

Congrats on Baby Number 4!!! I can't recommend Dr. Rosalie Sant at Primavera Medical Centre highly enough. She delivers at City Hospital and Primavera is located about 2 mins from there. I recently had to have an emergency c-section and she was fabulous! I completely trusted her and now have a very healthy LO. Contact info is: 04 375 4669

Dr George based at n9ne medical - healthcare city and delivers at City hospital now (previously American) I cannot recommend him highly enough, he has NHS experience.

wow baby number 4!! how exciting (and brave!) well obstetrics wise ur best off with the docs that come highly recommended... so just pick which one depending on which hospital ur insurance covers u for... top hits are: Dr. Raj (American Hospital) Dr. Else (City Hospital) Dr. Janaki (Welcare Hospital) and with regards to appointments... u can see a doctor immediately to confirm pregnancy (HCG blood test, etc.) but then actual scans begin at 10-12weeks... :) all the best... very very very happy for u!
