Anyone do the 3D/4D "baby watching" at Fetal Medicine Centre? I'm pregnant with my first and quite like the idea of getting a good quality 3D scan for a memory! Also, when is the best time to do the scan? I'm 24 weeks.

Hi, I'm pregnant with my first baby too and have had all my scans at FMC. They are amazing and Dr Afsheen is excellent. He takes his time to explain everything and answer all questions, no matter how silly! I am now 30 weeks and will be having my doppler scan this wednesday. This should be done between weeks 28-32, so I'm slap bang in the middle! I had the 12 wk scan (downs syndrome testing) and 20 week scan (detailed organ scan) there and both times we got the 4D DVD with pictures. Hoping bubs will comply and be in a good position as this is the final 4D scan and can't to see how he's grown. :) xxx

Hi there, the best time to perform the 3D 4D scan is around week 28, the facial features of the baby are almost fully finished. In Baby 4D they do this kind of 3D 4D scan for fun, I think starting at AED 499 to watch your baby. If need more info www.baby4d.ae <em>edited by armp74 on 05/10/2014</em>

If your lucky when they do the scan the switch to 4d every now and again I got a few great pictures :-) and I never booked for the 4d as we didn't know the *** so she had to be very careful. :-0
