Hi. I REALLY struggled with breastfeeding, and the madela twin was a God send to me. I unfortunately had to stop when my bub was 4 months (long story) and have been thinking of selling mine.. I paid 600 AED, so would love 300AED or therabouts. If you are looking for one second hand then let me know, otherwise I might keep for number two..
You can get screw in adaptors from Avent that allow you to pump from Medela straight into Avent, but unfortunately only in the US. They are only light so I felt definitely worth shop and shipping, and it's definitely saved my dish pan hands!
Yep, you can do both sides at once - I bought it at Baby Shop and it was on sale (I think it was about Dh260) - well worth the money spent. I'd definitely recommend an electric rather than manual one too.
Not compatable with avent bottles - it comes with two medela bottles that you could decant into the avent bottles once finished pumping tho.
Can I suggest the following - Hire a professional grade pump before buying one - I have the details of Suzi - who is lovely, I hired one of her for a few weeks - its 60dhs per week with a 2000dhs refundable deposit! I only say this because you don't know if you will get on with pumping or not and they are expensive - so if you only need to pump to increase your supply that I think this would be the most cost effective option - you could hire for a few weeks then buy your own once everything is going well :)
let me know if you want her details!
thanks meals, so you can pump from both b@@bs at the same time with this one? How much is it and where from? Compatible with the avent bottles? I think I had the avent breast pump too last time and it was slow going, I'm hoping this medala one is much faster!
