Good Morning Everyone,

I recently found out that I am 7 weeks pregnant. I went to see Dr.Fatin Khidir in Mediclinic dubai Mall. I am looking for better suggestions and feedback if anyone has seen Dr.Fatin before. Or I am open to suggestion. This is my first baby and I am very anxious and stressed.

Thank you for the help. I have heard alot about Dr.Elsa. But unfortunately she does not take insurance and re-reimbursement is a lot of stress here. I have started seeing Dr.Ghazala Khan in Welcare Hospital. She is very nice and professional.

I highly recommend Dr.Elsa, who was previously with Mediclinic city hospital. Now, she runs her own clinic in health care city and delivers at city hospital. She is very pro natural birth. I delivered my first with her and i am back to her due to deliver my second in 2 weeks.

Hi If Mediclinic is covered then Mediclinic City Hospital should be covered too? If so, then I would highly recommend City Hospital. I have checked the profile and the Dr.Raj looks very qualified. However, Unfortunately my insurance does not cover American hospital as the charges are quite high. Normal for 12000 and c-section for 23,000. It covers the normal but I am not sure what if God forbid I have to get a c-section done at the end.

Thank you so much for your help. My insurance covers maternity in Mediclinic and Medcare. I am not sure about American Hospital. Where is Dr.Raj from? Can you tell me her full name so I can check. Dr.Fatin from mediclinic is a good one; however, I am looking for some more suggestions and if anyone has had any experience with Dr.Fatin.

Congratulations! The most important thing is to check which hospitals are covered by your insurance, and the maternity limit in your insurance plan. Based on that you can decide where to deliver. If you have coverage of American Hospital or City Hospital, go for those. Lots of threads here about doctors there, highly recommended. I'm seeing Dr. Raj at American and she's great.
