Hi, I've recently found out I'm pregnant and am trying to choose a hospital. I've heard lots of good things about City hospital but as I live in the Springs would like to find somewhere closer. Has anyone tried the Saudi & German hospital or one of the hospitals in Al Barsha? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks I have read bad reviews on here regarding the SG however many people have raved about Al Zahra ( I believe they have Western midwives)

Thanks for the advice. I went to the S&G hospital yesterday to get an appointment but you can only see male doctors out of office hours, which is tricky as I work full time. Would be much more comfortable with a female doctor, will give Al Zahra a go. Thanks

I don't know about Zahra-Dubai. But I must say an excellent experience with Zahra-Sharjah. I have even heard good reviews about City hospital.

Hello! I'm still pregnant so don't have a birthing experience to share yet, however I have chosen Al Zahra Hospital (right near Saudi German) and so far it has been great. I read lots of positive reviews before choosing there. Have read some negative reviews re Saudi German. If you search the threads you should find plenty of info on hospitals from other ladies.
