I don't think I did have a 6 week checkup, def nothing that involved looking at my abs. I think I just had a 6 month checkup which was a smear test. Like PJ I didn't lift heavy things or drive for the first 6 weeks and I think I didn't swim either.

Not sure what is normal - but I never had any checkups after 2 weeks. I stuck to the usual guidelines of not excercising, driving, lifting for first 6 weeks.

Hi ladies, I had a c-section and my Doctor checked me at the 2 week mark afterwards and said everything was healing well and I didn't need to come back in until 6 months. Is this normal or should I have a 6 week check up to confirm my abs are ready for exercise and that everything has healed properly?
