Can I stop taking Yasmin after only 2 days?

I was prescribed to take Yasmin for 3 weeks in order to control some harmonal deficiencies. The doctor told me to stop the pill if I feel any pain in my cough muscle, which I did after only 2 days. Unfortunately my doctor is out of country and I do not have his mobile number :( The pain went away the day I stopped the pill. Now I am confused if I should resume the pill or not :S Also, is it ok to stop the pill after 2 days? I understand that only a doctor can guide me best and I have emailed mine already but it would be nice if I can get some advice meanwhile.
