Oooooh excuse my ignorance, I've just found the Abu Dhabi web page, isn't google a wonderful thing DOH, pregnancy brain :0
You're excused, pregnancy brain is bad enough when you're just pregnant with one! I'd probably struggle to remember my password to log on to EW if I was expecting twins ;)
I've never checked the actual written statute but the police here are often quoted reminding people that under 10's aren't allowed in the front seat.
Yep makes sense, thanks. Understand we aren't in the UK just thought as a few things followed suit here maybe just maybe there was an option. As you seem to know, where is the "law" here written so i might be able to have a read up, any ideas?
Thanks again
Hi jojobaaklini
It's totally irrelevant what the UK gov website says as we aren't in the UK. The law here says it is illegal for any child under the age of 10 to be in the front seat. Hence if you want to stay within the law here, your son needs to travel in the back seat.
I had three car seats across the back seat of my 4x4 and it wasn't a problem strapping in the middle child after a c-section. For the first couple of weeks I stepped up in to the car to secure the middle seat rather than stretch across.
Can any one tell me if its possible to put my sons stage 2 maxi cosi Axiss in the front seat WITH THE AIRBAG OFF?
I'm expecting twins next year and have a 4x4 but still think it will be a struggle to get him in the middle seat while the other two ride by the windows? The UK gov website on carseats does say quote" Children under 3 must be in a child car seat. If there’s no room for a third child seat in the back of the vehicle, the child must travel in the front seat with the correct child seat."
The problem is that there is room it's just for my comfort when placing them in especially after having a possible c section?
Any help would be gratefully received, thanks in advance x
