If one is considering changing to a different formula..what is the best way to do it ? Just switch one day or wean slowly from old brand to new one. My son is quite gassy on S26 so was considering a change..any recommendations? I used APTAMIL with my other children in UK and that worked very well but don't think it is the same quality here?

What does a dark green stool mean?

TIA

We changed from NAN gold to Aptamil for the same reasons. I found it really good, no constipation or green poo. DS poo was yellow & softer when we switched. We used the local Aptamil available at C4, & they were on offer recently (stage 1, 2 & 3). DS is 13.5 months now & he was FF since day one.

I have changed my son to Hipp organic from Aptimal and haven't had any problems. I emailed Aptimal and asked where it is made when purchased here and it is all made in Holland same as stuff from the UK.

Can't help with the first question but the green stool could be caused by iron fortified formula. Nothing to worry about.
