Hello. I need your help ladies,
Recently my husband moved from corporate to his own business, I've been covered with his corporate health insurance last year n it will end by end of march.
The question is as I m pregnant ( 6 weeks), we need to get a new insurance, do you know how it works and if they ask for a waiting period or migh refuse me.
Do you have any recommendation.
Thank you

The minimum maternity waiting period for a new policy is 10 months. Like the Derien said, you can request for it to be transfer to an individual policy.

Oh no one can help! I don't think you can switch insurance companies while pregnant unless the new one is willing to disregard existing conditions, including pregnancy. I think the bets solution would be to request that you ask that the provider transfers you onto an individual policy ( rather than corporate) and you pay the bill. If it's a really expensive insurance policy, then once you give birth, you can terminate and switch to a less expensive one
