Did anyone have their LO christened here? I am thinking about having DS christening here and will go to Jebel Ali church (Catholic) at the weekend to see the priest but would be interested to hear from anyone who has done it here. What was the service like? Is there any paperwork?

Thank you :)

hi, just a thought, would you do the christening at home? we did it the godparents garden and it was beautiful, the priest carried out the service, we had caterers, it was bliss, as same issue of we had gone to church it was a little hectic with other services happening. Something a little different as well. Good idea. I'm going to go to the church next week and see what options are available.

We went to one a few weeks ago. Was lovely - although the Priest was a little manic though ;) Very hyper!!! Dont know about paperwork etc... Unfortunately there wasn't time afterwards for a cake or many pics as they have other services following... but the service itself was nice (however... we sang A LOT of songs and a LOT of chorus'!) Souns a bit chaotic! I put a post on the main forum and it seems you can have a private service as well so will try for that.
