Just found out that im pregnant, did some research thanks to you lovely ladies and went to see Dr George at AH as I am in the high risk category and had scan. All well to date 6w +4.
Want to know when you ladies paid for your packages?
Did anyone just go to hospital for outpatients app too?? Dr George said that he will do all the scans as necessary.
Going to register with gov hospital as I have delivered in a previous pregnancy with twins at 22wks.

Is there anything else I should be doing? It feels like a mine field here - used to NHS care
TIA

Congratulations bt! Exciting times. :D Both pregnancies I had in Dubai I went to my GP (Carol Smylie at Dubai London Clinic, DFC) until 28-ish weeks, then I switched to a hospital package. Carol organised all relevant bloodwork and scans etc until I went under the care of the hospital. If your pregnancy is high risk, it's a good idea to check out Al Wasl and consider paying for a pakcage there. Awesome 'high risk' care at AW. Best to go there and ask (insist!) to see the head of ante-natal care to work out the best way for you to go forward.
