I took my LO out this arvo for a quick dip and play outside and it was quite windy (didn't notice till I went outside, did I - in a daze today!) and tonight he was quite windy and unsettled... Just curious as to whether the weather (oh, I'm on a roll ;) lol) causes issues...?

I don't know about making your baby physically windy but the weather, especially winds has been shown to have an effect on mood so he could be a sensitive wee soul ;) Crying tends to make them windy so if he was unsettled and cried that could explain the gas.

Yip this could totally cause wind and it did with my DD. Whe she was out and it was windy she would get a rush of air in her face and take a big gulp of air hence becoming a big bag of wind. It took her a good few months to stop doing this :)

well, unless he's siphoning up the air like a whale shark does water, I think not! It could be that he took in a bit too much pool water though. edited by Hello.Again.Kitty on 28/05/2011
