Well, I may see you there! Our EDDs are only 7 days apart so we could very well overlap in our stays if I'm a little late and you're a little early. I hope you have a good delivery in any case.

I know! Anyways like u said dr plays minimum role if everything else goes smoothly.my sis delivered this march from Zahra and I was in the labor room with her :) Doc came just as the baby was delivered only...till thrn it was the midwife and peads dr and another nurse. Hoping I deliver before she leaves ..ibut i have a feeling its gonna be after

That's a shame, Zee, I'm sure you'll have excellent care in any case. You could just use your doctor's stand-in? Al Zahra is so midwife-focused that it a normal delivery there is very little for the obstetrician to do anyway. Best of luck!

Congratulations Molly! Interesting, he hasn't mentioned it to me. I'm due 31st July but he thinks I'll go over.

I think Dr Jozsa also has a vacation in August. I've just delivered with him and asked this question weeks ago. I'm pretty sure he said he was holidaying in August

He consults at Healthbay Polyclinic. He delivers at either City Hospital or Al Zahra.

I would recommend Dr Jozsa without hesitation. There are quite a few threads on him here.

Hi Zeegurl, she will have a stand-in. Call her nurses or reception staff to get the details. I'm delivering at Al Zahra with Dr Jozsa and he is currently on leave. At my last appointment he gave me details of his replacement should I go into labour while he's away. I'm not due until after he gets back though.

Hey all.. Just had my 36 week visit with the dr. Yamini at Al Zahra... Everything looks ok. Alhamdulillah. After my scan , she tells me that she is going on leave from Aug 3rd to 12th!! My due date is 6th. Now what should i do? Any one else out there with the same due date or around that time ..who is showing dr.Yamini at Al Zahra?
