Hi there,

Someone mentioned to me today that DLC runs baby swimming classes and that you don't need to be a member to attend. Does anyone here take their babies there for swimming? How is it? Not sure I want to commit for a whole term, so can you do 'pay as you' go classes?

Any info would be appreciated!

shellly.. try activeuae.com they have water babies classes at Horizon School in July, every Sat at 11am, you can pay for the month or just one session 280dhs for 5 sessions. Brilliant! Thanks so much, will definitely check this out!

Thanks everyone! I might think about it for September. To date I have not found pay as you go classes, but haven't actively looked either. Think I might just wait till September ;)

ETA: it was two years ago, but I did a pay as you go swim in the summer with a woman named Louise. At the time she was at the Wafi, and I think she worked for Active Sports but I'm not sure. If you call the Wafi they may be able to give you more information. She was nice and it was a good introduction to swim with my 1 year old. <em>edited by granola on 27/06/2011</em>

That's right.. however there is no more baby splash during the summer. the next term is in sept. Not sure if you can just swim now that there is no more classes.. call them and check. S
