Flying tonight with Emirates to UK. DS is now 22 months and really wondering if Emirates strollers at the airport would be ok for him. Just to take him around Duty Free and to the gate when he gets tired. Is it easy to get one? At the other end we can borrow a stroller from family members.
I do have an umbrella fold MacLaren I can take with me but I would do it if I can store it overhead as hand luggage. Anyone was allowed to do this recently?

The strollers are plentiful and easy to get. I've wheeled three and four year olds in them - they are maclaren or similar quality. The only trouble is at the other end. If you gate check a stroller, some airports will provide the stroller at the airplane gate when you deplane. Others won't. And nothing worse than a long trip through the airport and customs with a sleeping child on your shoulder!
