Feedback - Second Opinion
As you can see from some of my posts I went to Dr Fakhi for treatment however, for some reason DH was not totally comfortable with him and felt that he wanted to go to another clinic for a second opinion.
i booked an appointment at DGFC, and I have to give you some feedback that has really opened my eyes
- the consultation was more than 1 hour long and the Dr answered ALL the questions that we put to him
- we were advised that the IVF route that Dr F has told us would not possibly work for us, they also told us that the medication that DH was on was totally incorrect and would not help
- the internal ultrasound scan that I had at Dr F showed nothing, today I was told that I have a cyst on my ovaries and that this would also have an effect on the outcome although it can help in some cases
- my breasts were examined and a lump was found, this lump could be effected by the medication of any IVF or hormonal medication
in an overall overview, we have decided to go with DGFC, the atmosphere and treatment we received was second to none, whilst some peope feel the opposite it has made me realise that it is always worth going for a second opinion.
We have been told also that we should not have to pay mroe than 21000aed that is a 7000aed less than we were told by Dr F.
With so many conflicting views on IVF and other procedures, I am so glad that I went with a second opinion.
