She's definitely fighting something if she had a fever that high. I would also recommend getting a second opinion.

Her temperature was fine since yesterday at around 6 pm. but she kept crying at night, but was so sleepy to open her eyes. but you're right if her temperature goes up i will def head to Dubai to see her docter. I got really irritated how he prescribed AB and still told me yeah nothing is wrong with her. ?!!? but another qs, her gum was quite soft could it still be teething? She could be teething,but if i were you i would take her to another doc for a second opinion.Just to be sure.Hope she will be better soon. Yeah just to be sure. You're right. Thanks

could be teeth, my LO always gets a temperature when teething. strange doc gave you antibiotics but said nothing is wrong. i dont know about the milk- but if temperture carries on i'd take her to another doctor for a 2nd opinion.

Hi all.. my almost 6 mth baby woke up yesterday at 6 with a high fever of 38.6 c. I gave her panadol and that decreased her fever. Then at around 12 it went up to 39 c. Gave her panadol again thank God it went down again. I took her to the doc and he said she is fine nothing is wrong with her. But I prescribed antibiotics for her. Im like what the ???? No thanks and I left. Then at night she would cry while sleeping. I have no idea what it is? Could it be teething? I felt her gum it was quite soft. I think and thats just my thinking that maybe at the nursery they mixed up my EBM with some other baby's formula.. could that lead to fever? She never had formula only once in NICU and that was like 7 ml. Any ideas?
