So i am 35 weeks down, 5 more to go.
This is my second baby.
According to the doctor, i am due on feb 24th or something.
According to me I am due on Feb 13th which is 38weeks.
My ovulation dates are way off the chart with both pregnancy. So the scanning lady did say that if i go as per my period dates, i should be popping around the 13th or so.
For my last pregnancy, it was the same, they said the 28th May and then they changed thier mind to 23rd may and i went into labor on 23rd may.
When i calculate according to my first pregnancy dates, i should pop on 13th.
So now, which is correct? My dates? Or Doctor's date?
And DDH decided he needs to travel on the 11th and back on 13th just in time.. very annoyed!

Oh i really have to deliver after the 20th! Before that is just not convenient! sigh! I hope baby knows that! I had BH at 31 weeks with my ds and it was so painful and continous that i thot i was in labor! Had it for almost 48hrs continously every 5-10mins! but yes, jsut turned out to be practicing! Of course, it also turned out that i has a random cyst which made things painful.. This time round i keep getting BH, but i havent really kept track when it started.. it comes and goes, especially since i do carry my 11kg DS sometimes.. And it isnt painful or anything.. just a tightening of the belly.. Pls pray i dont pop before the 20th ladies..

My ovulation is all over the place too my uncle who is an Ob/gyn says that the most accurate delivery date is from the 8 or 9 week scan as this is when the size of the baby is most accurate.

Highly possible then. I have been feeling what I described as extreme movement on her part, maybe its BH afterall.... hmmm. Im also hoping for a 38week appearance. ;) It's when your tummy, especially the top bit becomes really tight. Think you've felt that? And btw, when are you starting on your maternity leave? yeah, i dont think its BH then. These are definitely movements then...the kind where you see limb move across. Oh well. Counting down anyways! I'm going the end if I can.....march 3rd i think.

I have a few questions since this is not your first :D Do lots of Braxton Hicks mean you can deliver earlier than 40 weeks? :D Like 38 or something? And do most women deliver the first kid around 40 weeks? Or is it earlier? Psst...gimme some hope :D braxton hicks already?! i thought we were in this together stovetop! ;) but seriously, is it odd if i dont have any? Maybe you just didn't recognise it yet? I thot it was DD playing around my tummy and clenching her fists or something till my sister who was visiting told me that they are BH. I was like, aaah THAT's what they are then. :D Highly possible then. I have been feeling what I described as extreme movement on her part, maybe its BH afterall.... hmmm. Unfortunately BH do not mean that you deliver earlier than DD. It has nothing to do with it. I had BH from 6 months on. and a lot during the last weeks, but still went over DD and was induced because I couldn't take it anymore. I heard ppl say that first time moms tend to go over DD rather than have the baby early. But it's different for everyone and no way to tell in advance. The baby will come when it's ready. Most women deliver within 3-4 days before or after their due date. Only 10% or so have the baby more than 2 weeks before or after DD. It seems that statistics for this are very unreliable, especially since it is impossible to calculate the exact due date. But this is what I found on wikipedia: Fewer than 5% of births occur on the due date; 50% of births are within a week of the due date, and almost 90% within 2 weeks.[unreliable medical source?'>[20'> It is much more useful and accurate, therefore, to consider a range of due dates, rather than one specific day, with some online due date calculators providing this information. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pregnancy
