Im having a terrible toothache all day and now I just can't take it anymore. Does anyone know what meds are safe to take whilst breastfeeding? I don't want to stop bf and take meds jus coz of this stupid toothache...

I didn't have clove oil and instead tried chewing cloves - no use :(

Most meds are safe while bf, but a few aren't so always better to double check. The page should help but Email me on Khoury at null dot net if you'd like me to look up the safety categorizationof specific meds while bf; I can give you info to discuss w your healthcare provider. the safe medicine will be same as during pregnancy, I think the most common one is Panadol (btw, just recently extracted wisdom tooth and have same problem, toothache, so popping Panadol like M&Ms :D)
