I didn't put on much weight when I was pregnant, but now baby is 3 months old and I am starving!!!! I eat and eat and eat.

Breastfeeding is supposed to help lose baby weight....but I am putting it back on again!

Anyone else had this?

eat healthily... and drink! It may be that your body is confusing thirst for hunger signals (apparently it's very common!).

Although frustrating, its worth it. I am happy to be providing my little rascal the best nutrition ever,

I was starving first few months, it took 9 months of BF to lose the weight and initially I gained it, you'll get there don't worry. :)

First child I lost all the pregnancy weight, and then some, with BF. It was lovely. Second child, well everything has headed south, and the weight won't budge. I think it also depends on other commitments. Looking after siblings, increased housework, trying to shop with more kids places extra demands on your time and energy requirements. I think that I get less sleep with two kids, as sleeping when the baby sleeps is not possible! Tiredness contributes to hunger and eating (the wrong things for me). I think that we underestimate the physical requirements of BF. When my grandmother was here, she was so concerned, that I was doing too much, as I was breastfeeding!

oh yes, sounds most familiar! I didn't put on too much weight when pregnant but was ravenous when I was breastfeeding and I think I put on a couple of kilos just because of the constant hunger. The "breastfeeding is supposed to help you loose weight" didn't work for me at all -:( That said, you need the calories to produce the milk, so not much you can do about it.
