Hi Ladies!

I am in urgent need of a extra long baby gate or some other contraption that would serve the same purpose.

We have an semi open plan kitchen & it doesnt have a door just a very wide opening with a wall that is slightly slanted on other side.

my toddler is obsessed with kitchen & having eyes on him 24/7 is proving impossible.

Any advice would be great! I'm racking my brains coming up with crazy solutions, but surely there has 2 b something out therefor this sort of thing. i dont care what it looks like, just want him to be safe!

Thanks

Hi Vic+zaki, I ordered an extra long gate from Duma safe. Their website is www.dumasafe.com, email is info@dumasafe. They are great. Expensive but worth it to keep your kids away from the hot stove.

thanks for your reply kaba. i just had a look, but i need something bigger than that, 51inches atleast but to be honest even bigger than that would be best, because its not just width thats the problem its the slanted wall also. i honestly do not know what to do except getting something made...but i wouldnt even know where 2 start with that! arrrggghh really stressing me out, hes putting all his toys in oven when its switched off, so now i dont even switch it on at the plug unless hes in another room. he is type of boy that really doesnt listen, i take him away everytime but minute i turn my back hes there again stuffing all his toys, clothes, nappys inside. hes only 15mths. until i find something i guess we're eating take away as i cant have the risk of switching oven on! thanks for your help anyway. edited by vic+zaki on 14/07/2012
