Just to let you all know that my now 2 year-old is finally sleeping through the night. I didn't do the cry-it-out method but I just kept on saying no to her every time she woke up during the night and eventually she just stopped waking up for milk. It only took two years! :)

I haven't weaned my DD yet. I am afraid that's going to be a hard one. I think I had it easier because I was already giving him cow's milk in the morning and before bed and only breast feeding at night so he can go back to sleep. When you know she wants your breast, continue saying NO and give her milk in a sippy cup?

I figured he was only waking up because he wanted the breast for comfort. He occasionally wakes up but I shush and pat and he goes right back.
