Hi Ladies,

At what age do I lower the mattress in my baby's cot? She is starting to lift her head and rolling over, but not able to lift herself over the edge of the cot. She is now 3 1/2 months.

Thanks

You need to use your instinct and judge your baby as each baby reaches developmental milestones at a different age. We lowered DD's as soon as she was able to sit up and pull herself up by holding on to the bars! This was around the 5 month mark.

I lowered my mattress when my DD started to move around, even though she could not lift herself up, I just felt more comfortable knowing that she was lower down. Use your gut feeling, if you feel that it will be safer for her being a little lower then move it. But if she starting to roll over then deff lower it-just in case
