Hi ladies

Has anyone got any recommendations for good places to shop for modern / stylish maternity clothes?

I found an old post online which mentioned Mothercare in Debenhams MOE and a shop called Pregmamma in J3 Mall on Al Wasl - tried to find that one but think it's closed?

I think there are some good online places but would rather try stuff on at this stage.

Any info would be great.

Thought so when you sweetly put that you have hospital PJs - dont take them darling, they will only get ruined or not worn ;-) They are more for my husband than they are for me....personally couldn't care what I look like but he will be happy if I make an effort at least. It could all go out the window once we get in the thick of it but at least I will have something nice to wear at home post birth :) Ooh I would totally take nursing sleepwear - I took 2 BF-ing nighties and a couple of nursing tops and wore them, and I was only in for 36 hrs. I wore a really big, long (v cheap) black t-shirt for birth, then after a shower wore a hosp gown for the transfer from delivery rm to the ward. After that I wore my own stuff. Anyway, back to the main question - I got most of mine at Dest Maternity, H&M etc. I also ordered some bits online from Seraphine, ASOS etc. generally maternity clothes sizing follows your normal size pre-preg unless you have gained masses of weight. And mostly it's stretchy anyway so the sizing is pretty forgiving!

I know you said you want to try things on but asos and new look from the UK both deliver here. Had some issues with new look myself re postage (make sure they include the PO box on your package) but the products fit fine when ordering my regular pre-pregnancy size.

Yes I have bought some stuff just yesterday from Destination maternity at Dubai Mall on sale. I got some nice sleep wear for the hospital. A lot of the sale stuff of course was only the extra extra large sizes but I've found that their stuff is probably the most reasonably priced of all the shops at the Dubai Mall. I've also bought quite a bit of stuff from Gap online and had it sent over via Shop and Ship

Thanks Caligurl, will have a look in Mothercare today as already going to MOE. Still struggling with normal clothes but only have a couple of floaty / stretchy things that fit now so must start stocking up!

Hi, the two stores I have bought the most from are H&M and Destination Maternity (I prefer the Mirdif branch)....I was in Mothercare Debenhams MOE yesterday and the maternity section is on sale now. Not much there at all however some of the jeans were reduced to 140aed. If anyone knows if destination maternity is participating in DSF, I would love to know! edited by caligurl on 08/01/2014
