Hello

I have heard of a weekly clinic in Motor City where you can take your newborn for free check ups. My little one is 1 week old and I would like to get him checked out - weight etc.

Can anyone give me the details of the clinic and also driving directions? Tried searching for details but found nothing.

Just to let you all know, I saw this thread and did a bit more research as Motor City is a bit out for me and found that there's another Medicentre in Al Barsha as well and they do Well Baby clinics on a Monday morning for free. It sounds like it's the same woman that does the Motor City one too. The clinic is by Pan Emirates by MOE if anyone's interested. I haven't been yet so cannot comment on it but will be going next week as miss having "free" regular weigh ins!

It's at the medicentre in the row of shops at motor city. It's every Wednesday. I usually go at 11am. I think it ends at midday. Not sure the time it starts as it kept changing over the summer due to low numbers. It's busy now though! Last week I got there at 11 and didn't get to speak to the midwife til 12. They weigh and measure your LO and you can also discuss any concerns with the midwife who is really helpful. You also get to meet other mums there. Re directions - which direction are you coming from? It's not far from Arabian ranches and the polo club. <em>edited by waterbaby on 26/09/2011</em>
