Imolinar, u seem to have my baby:). He mostly forgets he's hungry when v r out and can happily look around for hours! The other day v were out he happily kept chewing on his toy.... i started getting hunger pangs looking at him ;). He doesnt take the bottle n will not feed with a cover, i BF him in the car in the parking lot with the cover, wid not much to look around, he didnt seem to mind.
Ohhhh... he's 5 1/2 mo too, i think its just the age....
If he got hungry he will eat, so don't worry about it. As they say Hunger is Anger.
Most proberly he gets excited and busy when you are out that he ignores the food, but if he really gets hungry trust me he will start beig fussy and wont sittle down untill he eats.
If i'm in your shoes i would enjoy my time out as long he is happy and seems enjoying it.
No need to rush home, he is 5 1/2 months and trust me at this age they know how to demand food.
My 5 1/2 old baby does not drink his milk when we are outside the house. I take express milk to feed but he barely drinks anything, breastfeeding is out of question, he wont do it unless lying down on the bed. We only take him out on fridays but he can go the whole afternoon with half a bottle only. What to do???. I hate to go out with him because of that, sometimes I just rush home because of this. DH and I really need some day off as a family as it is my husband's only day out and I also work.
