Hi Manubhadauria! I am taking Navidoxine and it helps but not a whole lot. I still feel nauseated most of the day but the Navidoxine takes the edge off and I can cope better, eat more, and am not as put off by all the smells of food. I think I might also ask the Obs for something different but my next appt is not until end of Sept. Plan on hanging in there until then. I am 14 weeks along and it still hasn't gone. I just hope that the Navidoxine doesn't stop working, I am so afraid of it coming back like before the tablets.
I still have to avoid milk and fatty foods (incl. crisps :( ). I have gum or anything peppermint at the ready in my bag, on my desk, beside my bed... Coke also helps me but I only drink it when I am feeling really off and only around 1/3 of a can. I don't crave anything, I wish I did so I could get some pleasure out of eating. ;) I agree with KellsBells, eat small amounts often as eating a standard size meal will just make things worse. All the best
Try crystalized Ginger. It helped take the edge off for me. Have you tried those wrist bands for travel sickness? Eat and drink small amounts often. Smell a slice of lemon. Suck on some ice. Chew gum. If all else fails get some stronger meds, there are some available...about 10dhs a tablet but worth it when you feel bleurgh day after day.
Good luck.
Ask your ob for something else. One of my pregnancies I had sickness all the way through :( ginger helped, eating small ginger biscuits etc also try to eat little n often. In my third pregnancy drinking coke stopped me from feeling sick lol and crisps. Hopefully you'll find something to help and don't get hungry :)
i have stopped taking navidoxine as even when i was taking it i had nausea... :(i hope it goes after 3 months..just the thought of food makes me nauseated.
