Hello Mommies

I am going to deliver at City Hospital but my insurance does not provide 100% coverage. I am aware of the maternity package (Normal - 11500 and C-Section - 22500) However, I need to know how much would be the extra charges over and above the delivery cost.

The epidural isn't covered by some insurance companies; it's 2500 or 3000 aed. Also, if they give you any extra creams or medicines. If you want, they give you MEBO cream, tell them you don't need it. You can take mine, I never used it. The nurse opened it for me so I had to pay for it later but I didn't need it. They also give you a laxative, I have a couple of bottles of those too that were barely used. They start giving you Meds as soon as you come into the room, so it's best that you take in these things before you go and have them use those instead of new ones and charging you for them. edited by Chi2dxb on 26/01/2013 <em>edited by Chi2dxb on 26/01/2013</em>
