Anyone bought/seen nursing bras in size 42 that dont cost you a fortune? Am trying to get the wired but not padded kind and its getting so difficult to find any here. I dont wish to order online cos I want to try it on before buying it.

I just discovered TKD (The Knicker Drawer), I think it was in Town Centre (the one on beach road with the Emirates shop at the front. I was struggling in a cheapy Mothercare bra in the wrong size that was next to useless and I could just feel it was 'wrong'. TKD fitted me in non padded, flexi-wire bras. I managed to pick up one that was reduced so the price wasn't so bad. But to be honest, even the full price ones were worth every dirham. They are so comfortable and supportive. Highly recommended. The English lady who fitted me (I think she is the owner) was lovely and knowledgeable. By the way, I was measured as 40E (yikes!!!), so you might be in luck with 42.

Can't say I've specifically seen that size but have you tried Destination Maternity? I know the Marina Mall one has wired but not padded bras that are actually quite nice (Jessica Simpson's brand). They are cupped but not padded. Good luck!
