I've searched previous threads for suggestions but still struggling to find reasonable quality / price nursing chairs.
Babyshop ones currently in stock are pretty hideous; apparently they have a leather one not in stock that might be better, but no idea when they'll get more of these.
Just kidding have nothing.
Pottery barn and Bellini have nice ones but soooo expensive for what they are.
Any other suggestions of where I can try?
Have checked dubizzle for second hand as well, with no joy. It's times like these I REALLY miss John Lewis!

Hi KH, I have a gliding rocker with gliding footstool from Pottery Barn Kids that I'm getting rid of (no room for it ). It's espresso color with white cushions if you are interested. I have hardly ever used it unfortunately. edited by Jalapeno on 20/05/2013 Hi Jalapeno thanks for pic, pls check your email...

I got my rocking chair and rocking footstool at Mothercare and had a beautiful cover made for both in one of the curtain shops, dont remember the name. But I love my chair and the cover can be washed weekly + fits the nursery perfectly.

I've got one of the Babyshop ones. I agree it's a pretty ugly thing but it's so comfortable! I've thrown a pretty blanket over most of it, and a smaller one on the foot rest.

I used the Ikea Poang chair for my DS1. It isnt a rocking chair but does have a give in it that makes it 'rock' sort of. I used it as a breastfeeding chair in DS's bedroom. I loved it so much and then we used it as a book reading chair. I actually bought another one when DS2 came along.

Just sent you the picture. It's not a rocking chair. I got a breast feeding support pillow too to accompany the one on there. :-)

Yes if you can send a pic that would be great. Driving around in this heat is doing me no favours, and I hate shopping at the best of times :) Am guessing it's not a rocking chair? Thx v much edited by KH on 19/05/2013
