Hi ladies,

I was wondering if you could recommend an excellent paediatrician in Abu Dhabi? My baby is one year old and we've arrived recently. I would prefer somebody who speaks English fluently although it needn't be the doctor's first language.

I have seen Dr Stiles at Al Noor (airport rd) who was fine.. some rave about him but I though he was OK. I have since been going to the German Medical Centre on Island and seen Dr Sobek who is like a GP - family medicine and she was great, very thorough and even called me to follow up which is unheard of. There is also a pediatric specialist there... they even accept walk ins although you will have to wait a while but booking appt is obv best unless there is a sudden illness. HTH

when I was living in abudhabi I loved the ped at the Franco emirien hospital. all dr's there r awesome I believe my little ones dr was dr Sumaya and in case she was not around we were seeing a french ped at the same place but I forgot his name now.
