Hi. Going to try the 'stay at home and bare bottom for few days' approach... But not sure what to do at nap time, should I leave DS with no nappy and just put a towel or sum thing to protect the bed? Any ideas would be much appreciated

Definatly put a nappy on for nap times and over night. Once DD1 was trained it was her night night nappy so she knew she would only have it when she went to sleep. Children when they sleep are so relaxed and are bound to have accidents. When your LO wakes with a dry nappy consistently for over a week take out the day time nap nappies and later on its the night time ones. DD1 was trained at 2 out of nap nappies at about 2.3yrs and night time nappies at 2.5years. Again, every child is different and boys are totally different to girls. Also boys actually dont have the ability to 'hold it' like girls so when they need to go its right then. :) HTH best of luck!

Overnight my son sleeps with Nappies but doesn't wear in the day. He stopped having day time naps just before two so I don't have that issue. I would suggest a nappy during naps as it will wake him up when he wets himself and just end up over tired and grumpy. try a few days without nappys and see if he does stay sleeping just continue, if he wakes up try nappys. Instead of bear bottom I kept underwear on him or tight pants that he will feel the wetness when he has an accident. Good Luck!!
