Congrats- soooo exciting! I used Dr Britt Claussen at City Hospital- Swedish/UK doctor, very lovely, came from London. Also Dr George at Nine MedicalCentre is amazing!!! There is so much to get your head around over the next few months! Check your health insurance is all in order as maternity care in Dubai is crazy expensive! TimeOut Kids Dubai magazine is in general a good help for pregnancy related stuff, and Expat Woman Bumps & Babes coffee mornings will be a good thing to get into too. Also... Make sure you're on a good pregnancy vitamin ASAP! Good luck!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant currently and can't recommend a British doctor, but I have been seeing dr. Branch at the American hospital and am very happy with her and the hospital as a whole. Two other popular hospitals with expat parents-to-be are City hospital and Welcare. I can also *really* recommend doing a prenatal pilates class, I've been going to one weekly at Real Pilates (they have a studio in Palm Strip mall and one in JLT) ever since I found out and it's been great, I can really tell the difference (sore joints, sore muscles, sore everything!) if I've skipped a week.
