I have been seeing dr. A all this while, now in my second trim I met dr. B , liked her more, plan to switch to her. Dr. A has been always nice to me. How do I tell her that am leaving her for someone who I think is 'better'?

Kindly pour in your thought?

She is at City hospital, if first consult takes a while to get that first appointment usually as she is so so fully booked

When I switched to another doc, I didn't tell Dr. A (was seeing her first few weeks of 1st trimester), when I didnt turn up for my next appointment, she didn't call me to find out either. So it's up to you if you feel responsible to tell her about it. I would recommend Dr Yamini at Welcare clinic (knowledge village), though she's cold in personality, she warms up after a few checkups, and is very friendly. I had emergency C-section, her stitches were perfectly sewn, it healed so well that there I was left without any scars. A job well done :)

Hi cp8o! Im also planning to switch doctors. My current one is not as attentive as I expect her to be. Please advise which doctor are you seeing now. Might consider switching to him/her as well. Thank you.

Thank you Sami and Lilly. After knowing my doctor for such a long time now, it's a bit awkward, but yeah, for my pregnancy's sake, am switching. Thanks.

I don't think you need to tell the first Dr at all, you're seeing her\him proffesionally not dating so I don't think you have to explain yourself. I switched Drs quite a few times first time round until i found one i liked and then she never returned from holiday. So they don't necessary will tell you if they change hospitals or move.
