I will be going back to the states during the 2nd trimester for 3 weeks. I am planning on giving birth in Dubai and that will be my only trip back home until baby is born. Of course I don't plan on doing any shopping until the 4th/5th month but is there anything I should buy back home that is hard to find or extremely overpriced in Dubai.

Thanks and would appreciate the help!

Thanks for all the help. I will be going back to the states again when the baby is 3-4 months so I can buy more clothes/baby items for when LO is older during that visit. Will the airlines allow us to bring a stroller on the plane when I'm pregnant? Or will they charge us? We will be flying Qatar airways.

also, i'd plan ahead. dont just bring stuff you'll use right away but the things you may need 3, 6, 9 months down the line. (unless a second trip is coming up) we went back when DD was 2 months and now at 7 months, Im still opening things we bought back then and havent touched since. the choice, and pricing is just unbeatable. do a trip to the outlets and get LO clothes/shoes for when they outgrow all the gifts! and for when you realize you forgot x y z, shop&ship account.

Everything. Car seats, strollers, clothes - all much better selection and cheaper in the US. Car seats and strollers don't count as baggage when you fly. They are considered "child safety equipment."
