I saw the Skiphop playspot on the Just kidding website and reallyy like it but find its quite pricey :(

Still have to go and see it but really wondering if AED 500 is worth paying for it or look for similar mats elsewhere.On the website it does say that these are the only foam tiles that are safe from birth onwards..and other similar ones selling are usually for 3 years +. Anyone using this and can give feedback? or can suggest something similar.

I have both the big ones from ACE and the ones from Toys R Us that's the Alphabet and I think they are great. Has saved him a few times from hurt himself when he was trying to learn to sit up etc.

I highly recommend the big thick ones from ACE. DD and nephew have played on them and fallen on them many times and are alright. The ones I got from ELC are pretty but too think to absorb the impact of a fall.

Please be aware that None of the stuff in Dragon Mart is checked by municipality or customs! It may very well contain harmful plastics, paint, lead, phtalate etc. When it comes to children who will start chewing on this stuff better be safe than sorry and buy quality I'd say.....

Why not just buy the foam mats at ACE hardware? 35 dirhams a square. We bought the one that look like wooden flooring. There is also a big variety at Dragonmart in different patterns. I find most of the stuff at JustKidding very overpriced.

I had it in my son's room when we lived in NYC and to be honest I didn't like it. Dirt, dust and the general detritous of life falls between the cracks - but of course does not get sucked out by the vacuum cleaner, but then to lift it and clean underneath it is a right pain, and takes alot of work. Mightn't be so bad if you have a maid to do it, but then it will use up alot of her time... So to answer your question....no I don't think it is worth it.

I bought mine at Kidville and I'm pretty sure I didn't pay that much, maybe it's worth having a look? I must say that I do like it, it's not quite as horrifically ugly as a lot of the sets. . . Thanks for sharing that! Did you buy it from Kidwille in Dubai?
