Any sling experts here?

I need a sling but which one. I don't like what I saw in Mothercare, seemed very bulky.

I need a sling that :

-I can buy here (right now really) so can't be something I need to order or buy abroad.
-LO is 2 months old
-supports my back

also.....what are they like to wear in hot weather, do LO get very hot?

Thank you :)

the moby is really well rated, you will loveeither one...i have a strange love or reading ratings and always searching for top rated items... moby and k;tan were both on the top 10 the ergo was rated 1 thats why i just recently bought that one, plus my friend who is always doing marathons swears by it ( she was walking 4 miles every other day with her 1 yr old), as far as back comfort, and i like it for when my daughter is a little older and wants to maybe at one point ride on my back... but anyway you will figure your wrap out,and love it, believe me, one you realize how soothing it is for your baby you will love it, research the benefits of baby wearing it will make you happy!

Sellers phone is still off :( and no reply....double :(( oh well never mind, think I can wait until this evening, then i'll go with the moby. Bubs needs some comfort and pretty soon. Good thing about the link below is you can hire the Moby for a month. So will do that, see how it goes and maybe i'll get the hang of it. Glad I posted here though, would never have heard or believed the great stuff said about either Moby or k'tan

i bought my sling/wrap while over seas, and love it, but i doubt they sell it here, although i saw one on dubizzle, its a baby k'tan... anyway while back home for 4 months, i didn't have a stroller, just wore my sling/wrap and found it to be such a wonderful and impotent baby accessory, i was able to nurse discreetly, bond with mt baby, and the best part is that she would always get a nice nap in no matter what, baby wearing is like a magic sleeping spell : ) when i returned back to dubai my husband welcomed me back with a new carseat and stroller, which i do use, but i always pack my sling/wrap for when she is hungry on the go, or when i need her to fall asleep. she hates being in her stroller and always gets fussy. i mainly use it for toting bags and to put my baby in when she is sleeping or just when my back gets a little sore... i recently bought an ergo baby on dubizzle because i read it was the best carrier on the market, and it has great back and shoulder support for older babies. i like it a lot, i still am loving the k'atan more maybe because i am so used to it, ohh and i found that both do get hot, so i wouldn't wear my baby outside in Dubai's summer heat, you sorta have to expect some heat with so much body contact. buuuuut when summer comes and the malls and other indoor facilities begin to blast that air con. this baby wearing may be really comfy.

Not an expert, just a contact suggestion: You could contact Michelle, she runs a baby wearing workshop in Dubai and sells slings as well: http://web.me.com/michelle.lee/BabyWearDubai/Moby_Wrap.html (scroll down for further dates)
