I'm so glad to hear that everything is just fine with you, such a relief isn't it? I tiptoed around for my whole first trimester because I was so afraid of something happening. Actually my whole pregnancy I've erred on the side of caution and I'm sure if I ever get pregnant with another one that I won't take it quite so easy as now the weight gain has crept up.

ladies - just came back - it was nothing - THANK GOODNESS - im so relieved - in fact weirdly, the dr checked my cervix and couldnt see any blood at all - not even dried blood! thank you sooo much to all of you that responded - its been the hardest 18hrs - and the worst part is ive only just started to slightly relax about the pregnancy - need these next 2 weeks to be over asap! Best of luck with all your pregnancies xx

I had 2 miscarriages. One at 8 weeks 3 days and one at 5 weeks. Both started with brown spotting. For my current pregnancy I had brown spotting until 10 weeks. At 8 weeks I had a massive bleed of bright red blood and passed some clots. Was certain all was over. I am now 37 weeks pregnant with that baby. There is no consistency with bleeding. Everything may be fine. I will pray for you and your little one. Let us know how you get on. Thinking of you with much love at this difficult time xxxxx

If it's any comfort, I had spotting in my first pregnancy and it was brown ( sorry TMI) That time , it was a miscarriage. The second pregancy, I didn't have any spotting at all and I carried term a healthy baby boy. with my 3rd, I had red ( bright red) spotting at about 10 weeks and cramps and I carried to term a healthy baby girl. Not sure if there's a difference with regards to the color, but with my 3rd pregnancy, I was told it was red due to implantation ??? Just relax and I am sure everything will be fine. xox

It's impossible not to panic when you're already invested in loving this little baby isn't it? I had spotting, same kind as you, throughout my first trimester and all was fine. The cramping, which I also had, was mild and was just my uterus growing for baby. My Doctor's mantra at all of my checkups was to just relax and enjoy being pregnant. Try not to worry yourself, what's happening to you sounds normal but for your own peace of mind, see your Doctor and discuss it.

Do your best not to worry (easier said than done). You are seeing your Dr this afternoon so they will be able to scan you. Unfortunately there is very little you can do apart from taking it easy and looking after yourself. It can be common to bleed at times during pregnancy but there is very little they can do at this stage really until you get into your 3rd trimester. Expereinced the same with my first 2 kids. Always best to get checked out with your Dr. Sending you lots of positive thoughts
