I am so worried...would really appreciate some advice. My son is 4 .3 yrs old...he speaks perfectly for his age...about 2 weeks ago he started stuttering on the word I. I'm thinking to wait a week and then take him to a speech therapist...

My son started stuttering at some words when he was 3.5 years old. He was very talkative for his age. I was also very worried like you for that. Then I did some research on internet and came to know that this is quite common specially in boys during this age and it will go away itself after some time (may be a month), if not then go to speech therapist. In a month the stuttering was minimum. Then after few days he just started speaking normally. During this time we have to ignore the problem and not try to correct him all the time.
