Hi Ladies,

I have started swaddling bubs again and would like to buy some swaddling blankets. Any advice on where to get some good ones?

We were using Grobags and I think she misses them a little (I definitely do!) but her naps have improved so much since we re-swaddled.

The woombies are fantastic. I'd definitely recommend the convertible version so you can have the option to have arms out....they make great sleeping bags with the arms out later on too. The woombies were even fine when he started to roll over as they were stretchy enough for him to kind of have his arms out tucked out on either side if you know what i mean, plus he had a super strong neck. They do say to stop swaddling when they roll over, but I just kept an eye on him through the video monitor and soon after got his arms out anyway and he then switched to mainly tummy sleeping! hope you can get some, they really are great :)

That sounds like the best solution, thanks SO much Sydneygal!! I'll get some family to bring them over otherwise x Also nice to hear you swaddled till 6 months, she is now 4 months and her naps are getting so good that I want to keep it up for as long as possible.

Hiya....we had DS swaddled until almost 6 months! The miracle swaddle blankets from Mothercare are good for little houdinis! We ended up using woombies (from Oz) which are like sleepsuits they get zipped into with arms in, with the option to take arms out later. I think I'd use these from the beginning next time, so much easier, but unfortunately not available here.
