Hi all,
Has anyone recently had experience with this?
Can you please tell me the cost involved.
Baby steps fee is 1500 which seems like a lot??
Many thanks!

Just found the receipt for our new born visa from 3 years ago, it cost us Dhs 250 it was only a 2 year visa and not from a free zone so didn't have to pay any deposits. His renewal this year was Dhs 490 because of the ID card so I imagine it would now be around Dhs 500.

This seems to be a lot of money compared to what EW have posted on their moving to Dubai section? http://www.expatwoman.com/dubai/monthly_faqs_Residency_Visa_Procedures_Dubai_9656.aspx I'm going through the same process and I was quoted only 245aed by the Immigration hotline yesterday.....

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the baby steps fee (1500) on top of the actual cost of the visa?

Hi kelly, Thanks for your reply. My husband will be the sponsor and we're in Dubai. Did it really cost 5000? ours did, this was for 3 years. baby steps didn't do it, we did it ourselves.
