DD (8 months old) and I are flying back to the UK on Sunday (day flight) - just the two of us. I was planning to put her in her pyjamas but was wondering, what does everyone else do? I may be carrying her in my Ergo so wanted to opt for trousers and preferably ones with feet so that I didn't spend the whole day picking her socks up. Any thoughts?

TIA

at that age i would have put DD in a vest and tracksuit for the plane for a day flight. Layers are a very good idea because its so hot here and warm in the airport especially if in a carrier and then the plane gets chilly... night flight i always change her into pjs just before boarding

If it is a night flight I put my baby in whatever he normally sleeps in, pyjamas and sleeping bag, to keep things as normal as possible.

vest plus onsie. So that if she gets warm I can always take a layer off. I would also take loads of spare clothes... for you and your LO! :)

If it's a night flight, they wear warm pyjamas and socks. If it's a daytime flight, they wear a winter outfit with socks.

With our DD (also 8 months) every time we fly international (even day flights) we always dress her in her sleep suit (long sleeved and built in feet, IYKWIM). I thinks its got to be the most comfy thing for her to wear as well as keeping her warm on the long flight.
